On Stage February 1970 "Justified and Stripped" Revised and Expanded is a rebuilt and remixed version of Elvis Presley’s On Stage – February 1970, compiled from multitrack and soundboard recordings from his second Las Vegas engagement. The album has been reimagined without the orchestra to spotlight the fire, drive, and onstage connection between Elvis and his band during this crucial moment in his live resurgence. By stripping away strings and horns, the focus shifts entirely to rhythm, momentum, and interaction, revealing a leaner and more aggressive live sound.

The result is a sharper, more urgent listening experience that better reflects the electricity inside the International Hotel showroom in early 1970. This engagement followed the explosive August 1969 return and finds Elvis sounding confident, fully engaged, and in complete command.

In the spirit of a companion release, the original On Stage track list has been revised with additional concert material to present a fuller picture of Elvis as a live performer at this stage.

Rather than a polished showroom spectacle, this rebuild emphasizes urgency, feel, and real-time communication between Elvis and the band. This version of On Stage captures an artist fully reconnected to his audience, proving that the momentum sparked in 1969 only intensified as 1970 began.
